Where is the fuel filter

Default Where is the fuel filter

Question, where exactley is the fuel filter? I followed the fuel lines from the tank to the engine, did'nt see it. Any help would be appreciated.

should be on the frame within two feet of the tank depending on truck

There is no external fuel filter. The Filter/sock is on the fuel pump and can not be purchased without the pump. When I put my Lingenfelter pump I wanted to put a new filter sock but had to use the old one. Don't know if there is an aftermarket one available but I couldn't find any about a year ago.
