I'm a big fan of the TBSSs and I'd like to pick one up for a DD. I've seen several places where people have referenced them as 06-09s. Was there a 2009 model year? I go to build one on the website and it's not offered. I'm just wondering if there's a possibility that I could actually buy a new one. It's not looking like that is possible.

Local plant, they closed it in January 2009.

I purchased an 09 in July, it was the last one in the region. You can go to your local dealer and have them do a locator.

 

they actually stopped production of the Trailblazers in Oct 2008. There were limited numbers of '09 TBSS's made, and started disappearing very fast from dealers. When I started looking earlier this year, I wanted a new '08 with the $8K in rebates, but missed the last one in the area.
It was a 1SS package with the cloth interior and plain radio, etc. All the '09's were only available with the 3SS package (leather, etc), which is what I ended up with. Plus I got all the other options. was like $39K (2wd) and I ended up at $32K after tax, then of course minus $12K for my trade in.
Just get on autotrader and do a search for a NEW trailblazer with the v8 and however far you want to drive. might still be some.
