oil change light

How do you reset the oil change light on the Trailblazers?

Haven't messed with it, but I'm guessing in the DIC under oil life, hit the reset button.

Does the old key on, three mashes of the gas pedal still work? :)

Tried it, but it did not work. It is the 4.2 Trailblazer not a SS. I don't know if that matters or not.

My TB SS has the Drivers Information Center (DIC), green readout just below the guages. It has a oil life meter built in.

Try mashin the pedal allthe way to the floor about 5 times quickly. It's only supposed to be three but, doing it about every day, sometimes it doesnt sense it the first time. Your oil change light should flash if it resets but sometimes it won't.

Tried that and it did not work.
