Default Now Taking Orders For the STS Turbo!

It looks like STS will have their TrailBlazer SS kits ready to start shipping in about 30-45 days. Our part numbers and regular pricing will be -

Part Number
TBSS (4WD) - TBSS STS Kit $4489.99
TBSSInter - Intercooler $649.99
Injectors and programming $1149.99
Freight in the 48 states $150.00

The intercooler is optional. I believe most people will go with this. STS is expecting about 500RWHP. This is with the 60-1 Turbo and single wastegate.

STS is offering an introductory price for orders that are placed by March 1st. That combined with the discount that we are including is -

TBSS STS kit with intercooler - $4199.99

You will not be charged until these kits are ready to go! Orders will be shipping out in the order that they come into us. You can place your order on our website or by giving us a call at 1-877-4-TBYRNE (1-877-482-9763).

The 4WD will be available first. They said they don't have this for the 2WD yet. STS probably hasn't bolted one on a 2WD so they don't want to say that it will fit until they do. The price should be the same.

Mine is a 2wd. I'll let you guys know how it works out. Right now the only difference we have found is the support for the air filter needs to be relocated. On the AWD kit it bolts to the transfer case, which I obviously don't have. I think a piece of angled stainless will do the trick though. Pics to follow.

I'd like to see some pics of one installed and some concrete HP/TQ numbers before even considering one. Is it true that these systems do away with your exhaust? Whats all included in the kits? Are the parts coated or bare? What type of injectors/size? And what is the turn around time on the programming?

Thanks,
Rich

HP/TQ numbers next week, but I fully expect 500+ rwhp.

Kit fits just fine on a 2wd. You just need to fab up a support for the air filter. I used a small piece of flat aluminum and a self tapping screw.

The turbo setup replaces the main muffler. The exhaust is only slightly louder than stock in the low RPM range. High RPM the whistle takes over.

Kit comes complete and ready to install. The fueling part of the kit includes LPE 47lb injectors, and MSD boost-a-pump, and a Diablosport Predator with an STS turbo tune loaded in it, so tuning takes all of 5 minutes. Then you do some datalogging using the Predator, e-mail the results to STS, and they have you a new tune usually within the hour. Parts are all coated.

Does the $4,199 price include the programmer, intercooler, injectors and boost-a-pump?

Intercooler yes, the rest no. That price he is offering is no less than AWESOME. Getting close to cost on that one. You will need injectors and programming for sure, the boost-a-pump is more insurance than anything, and you probably could do without it on 5-6psi (I haven't installed mine yet).

Plan on out the door pricing about the same as a Maggie setup (but you'll make more power.... )
