HID head lights
I bought a set of HID headlights for my TBSS and when they are in daytime running light mode only one will light up. It isn't consistent with which one it is either. I can get both of them to light up if I turn the headlights on with the switch but only one will come on when it is put into gear. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get both of them to light up while on daytime running light mode? Thanks Vic

Thanks for the links Andrew. I really dont want to cut my harness, but to save my lights I think I am going to do it. I'll look into it tomorrow. Which option did you go with, the mod under the seat or under the hood?
Also do you know if the Sierra pickups have 70% power going to the headlights for the daytime running lights? Thanks

Sounds like you will need a HID relay harness. Check with the people you got your HID kit through and they should give you one, if not they usually are around $15-25. I just put one on my 08 Silverado because one headlight would come on and the other would not. Hope this helps you out.

let me know if you figured this out, I might be able to help. v-leds has a DRL module that takes the pwm signal and outputs a clean 14v signal (need a relay harness as well) but it's 25 bucks well spent and no wires to cut

all it takes is a large enough capacitor between the headlight on wire and a ground to give the relay a constant signal. Also, a large enough capacitor will keep the headlights on for a short while after the signal shuts off which is pretty cool.
