Default Buying a TBSS today

hey i have been on ls1tech for a long time and have had a camaro but i sold my car this past friday and am buying this truck from my local dealer. It is the best price in the area and comes with the normal warranty. I already ordered my K&n Fipk CAI and am putting a converer on it and getting it tuned in 2 weeks. Not sure what else im going to do.

Good luck, I'm sure you will like it if you are going to mod it. Stock, there is way too much torque management and the shift points leave a lot to be desired, so a tune will go a long way toward making the ride more enjoyable.

BTW, you will never, and I mean NEVER see 21 mpg in that vehicle. I don't know where they got those numbers, but the new TBSS has the SAE corrected (read accurate) numbers, which are 12/15 I believe.

Good luck and have fun!

You might want to check out some of the TBSS forums. I have read quite a few threads where the trannies do not last long under those things... Might wanna beef it up or go ahead and buy the 100k warranty...

I got an 06 with 23600 miles on it and i added on extra 50,000 mile warranty. Its loaded with everything minus rear dvd player. I love it already. I was talking with there warranty guy and they were saying that they would cover my tranny as long as i dont do any power adders so that is a good thing i just hope they stay true to there word.
