The kit they market specifically for those HD 6 liter trucks has the 2300 in it..... same thing I am going to do on my 04.

Every 6 liter truck since the inception of the GMT900 bodystyle in 2007 has the rectangular port heads on it. 821 or 823's.

I just purchased a 2017 LT Z71 5.3. Anyone had any experience with the TVS1900 or Whipple on warranty issues/claims? I wouldn't expect them to warranty the motor, or drive train but lets say your window motor goes out?

They'll only void the warranty on the power train.

Oh ok cool. It'll be at least 3 years before I go that route but just curious. Thing needs headers, non-catted y-pipe, exhaust and tune but I don't want to void the warranty... yet

Default A looking for torque help on 2008 suburban LS with 5.3L

Been readin the post. I have a basically stock 5.3 in my 4x4 Suburban. I'm in California so lots of BS rules from DMV.
Got 110K miles and only did a cold air induction and a Hand held truck tune from my Superchips Flash PAC. Definitely more torque, but néed more to tow my 7000 lb toyhauller in the Tahoe area >3500 feet at 55 on up hill climbs. Does great in 1st up to 35 mph, but when in 2nd really has no power to accelerate uphill on highways. If flat road no problem but if a hill is there then maybe 40mph (semis are passing me!!). So I need to know What options are there for me. Want to budget about 5-7k for possibly a rebuild with Cam and head work??
Can I install a super charger on an 110k mileage stock motor??
Thanks

Yes 110k miles is nothing.

In your budget.
Supercharger, Catch can, proper tune, done.
Call Black bear, they are site vendor.

Go with one step colder plug, NGK TR6 (ask for part #4177 and parts store), this is old school copper core, for under 12$ you get all 8. Change them every third or sixth oil change, based on how you drive.

P.s.
Add in a Vette servo, billet OD servo and the trucool trans cooler along with the brackets from the guy on this site. This will significantly help your trans, while towing up those hills and shifting under that load.

What year burban is it?

That is about perfect mileage to throw 10psi at it. Throw on a blower, get it tuned, and off you go! An aftermarket muffler is some easy power as well.

Hold the phone, diesels pull with turbos all day, as do big trucks. I'd consider a nice oil cooler.

You want turbo for towing I say go for it, just remember you need to make some different choices on turbo sizing and things of that nature.
