Not sure the 2500 suv came with an available 4.10, could be wrong though....

I am almost positive some configurations did.

OP be sure to let us see some pics of the ride when you get it! I love the 2500 burbs! I was planning on getting a 2500 but this 1500 was too good of a deal to pass up.

Can't wait to see more

IIRC i was looking for a 2500 avalnche with 4.10s and in 02 at least it wasnt available on the 2500, know they (4.10) were available in pickups with gas engines..... Hell the 8.1 allison 3500 (dually) were only available as i understood it with 4.56, diesels were 3.73 and 6.0 were 4.10, but that was a crew cab truck, not an suv....

Yeah I know there is limited aftermarket support for the 8.1 but I'm cool with that. This rigs primary function is tow pig/family hauler, not race truck. So mostly stock is all it will stay aside from probably an exhaust and paint to help it stand out from the crowd. I have other toys to go fast in.
And besides, the wife told me she wants an 8.1 truck if we're going big. She likes the idea of one huge motor in our fleet. Gotta keep the wife happy lol!

And on the gears from my shopping around I've seen some listed as having 4.10's. Of course I never saw them in person to verify so I'm going based off of how they were advertised so grain of salt there

I've seen factory 2500 4WD 8.1/4.10 burbs down this way. They are rare but they exist.

If I could talk mine into getting one I'd be out shopping TODAY.

And I'm still looking. Drove 4 hours each way only to find out that the truck that "was a beautiful truck" aside from one issue I saw in pics was rotted all over and had a bent frame.

On the plus side after seeing one in person the wife agrees we need the 2500 and she's completely on board. So, the search continues...
If anyone knows of a decent one either without a million miles, or, if it has a lot of miles it's solid and relatively cheap I'm all ears. Willing to travel for the right truck. Wife would prefer an 8.1 (who am I to argue lol) but open to pretty much anything as long as it's a 4wd xl version 2000-2006!

I know where there's a white 2500 4wd quadrasteer 'Burb LT. It's an 03 I believe. Less than 200K. But it's a 6.0 truck... it's loaded though, rear DVD etc. it's in Tx, but I'd be willing to check into it for you if you were interested. My brother was actually going to look at it a while back but decided to just keep his truck for now, he never looked at it and it's still for sale, I saw it today. For the most part, rust isn't something we worry about down here.

Gmc yukon 2500

Supposedly has the Allison transmission behind an 8.1. I highly doubt it being it was never an option. But it is a 2500 8.1 truck with low miles.

I love all their detail.....

Only way it has an Allison is if someone transplanted it. Highly doubtful since whoever posted that can't even spell Allison
