That looks awfully short if its to sit inside the spring. If there is bracketry that attaches to the frame and axle to take up that distance, then possibly. Do you have any extra hardware with the bags?

I found out yesterday E-trailer.com sent me air bag helpers for a Dodge colt which is smaller than a compact car.

I kindof knew before I opened the box they would be to small because I have sean folks use these on souped up drag race car's right suspension they should be almost the length of the spring.
dam I was wanting to do the conversion this weekend like won't it be much easier to stuff the air bag into the spring while off the vehicle ?or it mite be easier having the 97x holding spring in place?

The 97x is supposed to be my new tow vehical for shorter 3 day weekends at the GOM.Gulf of Mexico.

currently have only driven the 97x around the 5 acre back yard (it's not yet registered). I've read when the 97x air bag sys. starts to leak the compressor simpley continues to pump to compenstate.

worst case senieo when I load 300LBs of tongue weight (23.6' GOM cruiser) and the compressor overheats will the bump stops alone keep tires from complelty bottoning out? I don't want to be stranded because of crummie air bags.

I looked at going to coils, but ended up replacing the compressor and both airbags with upgraded parts. I actually really liked the air springs when towing. It leveled out nicely on its own and towed pretty solid for an SUV. MIne was a GMC Denali with the aluminum 5.3. I got the springs from Arnott industries. And used a new factory pump. Only took a couple hours to install it all and reset ride height.
I replaced mine before they started leaking too bad. I never came out and saw it sitting on bump stops!
