Drop down to 16" wheels with a 35x12.5 or a 36x12.5 A/T or HT. Huge difference in rotating mass especially going to the HT. (I'm also biased as I absolutely hate the ballooned sidewall look... but that's a rant for another day).

De-crank the front end as much as you can. If you can drop that down 3" (or more, hard to tell from the pics) you'll get better air movement over the cab instead of the air always trying to pick the front of the truck up. Anything hi-way speeds is going to be related to aerodynamics. The drag vs. speed is a steep exponential curve. Pushing all the air under the truck and trying to make it take flight doesn't help.

Check your weight distribution on the trailer and your tongue weight at a scale. After towing around lots of equipment in the 5k-20k lb. range with bumpers and gooses, I've found tongue weight can really kill the drive-ability. I've seen a lot of guys load it too tongue heavy (which it appears to be on your setup, but you don't have much room to adjust either). You'd be surprised how much easier it will feel when pulling if you back it off to the 10-12% range.

And then supercharge it. Always supercharge it!

Chevy Freak
Are you serious about lowring the truck 3"!?!?!?! I hope you aren't dumb enough to think that will make a difference.

Gears will make a huge difference. With 37's, I'd go 4.88s.

Maggie is what i did with 5.3, 400+ ft lbs down low and on 33's

Some air bags might help to keep your headlights from pointing at the sky.

I like the way it sits like that with a little lean back it's not much like an inch just looks like more in the pik and it's cause I had a bunch of stuff in the bed in those piks transmission and other car parts. It does have air bags in the back just don't like the stiff ride when they're all aired up and the truck is empty

I found you over here, and thanks for chiming in on my thread.

Great looking trucks - gotta love white

And I like the sand pics. I'm planning to run my rig up in the Silver Lake Sand here in Michigan this summer.
Given we both have Crusaders - I'm wondering how your 5er works with your lift? Seems a bit high.

That's why i was asking cause I haven't towed it with my truck but my crusader sits pretty high when i bought it a few months ago I had them deliver it cause I didn't have a hitch yet but I'm hoping it should work fine when I bought mine they're was a lifted dodge there that also took a crusader and didn't look to bad. Whenever I get a weekend off work I'll have to hook it up and see how it sits, and yeah it was fun when we worked in Freeport lived like 1/2 mile from the beach
