Hello everyone, new guy here, sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn’t find anything on it. After pooching a set of clutches in my transfer case in my truck, I started to search for a transfer case with out the auto crap feature, and came up with the np 243, I know I need to splice the front vss wires into the rear I’m also aware that I need to change the tccm and dash switch to one from a truck with an np1 transfer case, I can get parts off of a 2004 duramax with the 263 HXD transfer case so what I’m wondering is, can I take the dash switch, tccm, and encoder motor out of the duramax, install it in my 1500 and hook the 243 up to the encoder motor, and have it all work in the end, also, I’m not sure if my factory drive shafts will be the right length, if anyone can confirm, it would be appreciated.
