I think I've decided to get a little higher...but need some help/info

Basically, I want my truck to sit at least as high as a leveled z71 and still use factory gmc rims. I can't go too higher as I still need to be able to get into certain parking garages.

What is it going to take to get there? I've searched around, but there is no definite answer. I know Rough Country makes a 3" spindle kit with a 1.5" block for the rear.

Here is where she sits now:

This is how I want it to look:

Thanks for the help.

get a 4inch 2wd lift kit, that should put you ab the same

2" body lift, 1/2" coil spacer up front and look into a set of 265/75R16's or 285/75R16's. The body lift is cheap, the coil spacer is cheap but an alignment is recommended afterwards and your extra height will need the fenders filled in with a nice set of 31-32's.

I'm not a huge fan of body lifts. I'm probably going to get the 3" spindles from rough country and some 2" take-off blocks. Now I just need to get another set of rims, tires and shocks, and talk my self out of buying the m1009 blazer my buddy's got for sale.

I think thats just the torsions turned up a few there no way thats more then 2inces and the more agressive tires add to the looks

not to forget that the black truck is also a 4wd and yours is a 2wd

Just get the 2" or 3" "leveling" spacers in the front for your coils. Then just get an allignment and you are at the same place as a Z71 stance with the torsions cranked like the black truck you pictured. That is about right where my Z71 sits stance wise and all I have done was cranked the torsions.

My boys 91 GMC 2wd all we did was add the 3" coil spacers and it and put on some 265/70/16's and it came out great. So I added a pic of the truck as it sits now. I know it is a 91 but the suspension systems are pretty much the same.
