Default Fabtech spindle question

Will a 3 inch Fabtech spindle work with factory Chevy 17's. Looks like the Fabtech website says it wont work but I have seen pics contradicting this.

We fit stock 16's on my friends 00 GMC ex cab till the new rims and tires came in. Looked funny as hell with a 6 inch lift kit and stock rims and tires... installed the kit my self.

I put a fabtech spindle on mine with two different sets of factory 16s as well, I'm sure a factory 17 would work.

Not sure if you did it yet but when doing make sure you run the brake line under the UCA and not bolted on top.

I bolted mine up top, I just made some extension brackets for the top, then I made some other brackets off the caliper to keep it out of the tire.

As long as you do something to keep it out of the tire.
