Default Aggressive Brake pads?

Have upgraded the GMT800 Ho with HydroBoost and 2007 spec 13 inch brake rotors, very much improved brake power.
Now looking for the MOST AGGRESSIVE possible brake pads, I want VERY STRONG initial bite on cold or wet rotors.
I do not care about pad life, nor dust, noise, don't mind changing the pads after a year or two,
I want the greatest possible amount of COLD ROTOR stopping power available.
What pads should I buy ? ( currently using Raybestos Police Pursuit pads, which ain't bad )

EBC yellow stuff or EBC orange stuff is probably what you want to look into. They should make both for the trucks.

I used ebc yellow on my truck (04 3/4ton), excellent stopping power with lift and 38’s. Worked even better with slotted rotors. Drilled rotors cracked after a year, lesson learned.

I had EBC yellow stuff and they were afwul cold. Much better hot.

I think out of the EBC greenstuff vs yellow stuff vs powerstop Z23, the powerstops I have currently are the best cold brakes.

The best hot brakes are hands down the EBC yellow stuff

Yellowstuff wont last very long, but they are the +1 street pad I have ever run. I get ~10-12k out of them on my MR2. My truck is still on PPV pads, with 02 rotors and hydro. Need to step up to 17s to get bigger rotors

The orange stuff says they work when cold, guess you need to buy them to know yourself.

+1 for EBC Yellow.

I use them on almost everything... Dusty - yes. Medium/short lifespan - yes. Great all weather bite at roughly 32 degrees F and up. (cold is a relative term I guess)

ONCE I got them to stink with 6000 lbs trailer pushing downhill in 1st high at 10-25 MPH (no low range in this truck for engine braking) extreme mountain side road. ZERO fade but were Hot! So yes they will stand up well to normal towing and ridiculous daily use.

Partnered with standard AC Delco Professional rotors I have not had any issues with warping or oddball wear patterns.

FWIW Hawk HPS is great hot, squeak at low speed, dusty like crazy, but takes a minute when cold for initial bite. HPS are great pads for a track, but EBC Yellows are better for normal driving IMO.

YMMV, but IMO Yellows are tops. Changes the braking experience 100% in these fat lard heavy SUVs!
