Well guys, I made it about a year with the 2012 Denali HD on 40s and said that was enough for me. Between not fitting into any car washes and being black, I was having trouble sleeping. Also couldn't get over the tires slinging **** all over the rides every time it touched dirt.
So back to simple living for me with my *** closer to the ground. Picked up a 2016 LT with 24k miles on for a very good price and added a couple upgrades and letting it ride.
First had a set of heated black katskin interior seats installed, tinted front windows, picked up some OEM chrome, and put some 35s on it. I got a set of RT steps coming for it next. Well see where it goes from here.

They've only been on a couple weeks. Got 3K on them so far. First impressions were that they are almost as quiet as the Terra Grappler G2's I had before. I did go from a 285/70-17 to a 285/75 so they're a little taller. They are very stable and I've already pulled my camper with them. They did great. No sway at all at 80psi. I wasn't really concerned with looks. But they are a great mix of a mud and all terrain tire. I run miles and miles of oilfield roads ranging from black asphalt to red clay mud and everything in between. They've been good so far. One of my complaints with the G2's was that they only lasted right at 30K even being very careful about pressure and rotating them every 5K religiously. If these make it longer I'll get another set. If not I'll be going a different route. I must add that my truck has a work bed on it and is loaded pretty heavy. It's probably 9K or close to it.
