#11
Well i only know from it being stock to now, i can tell its slower, im moving 35inch tires now so it kinda is alot. But i haven't got it tune to my tires yet. Im pretty sure i might need to step up in gears but i got a warranty right now and i don't want to void it. Ive heard after i tune it and improve my shift points ill be very happy.

Any vibrations from the front driveshaft after the lift? I am probably going to install the same kit on my 2010 Sierra 4X4. In the instructions, which I got on line , it mentions that a new driveshaft could/should be purchased from Powertrain Industries (#3194-9824) if you get a vibration. Did you replace the front driveshaft? I assume that the vibrations would be more noticeable at higher highweay speeds. Truck looks great.

He gets a liiiiitle rub if in reverse with the wheel turned while giving a little gas. But its all on the fenderwell insert. Its really no biggy.

I have that same set up and I can tell you that truck is a dog. Your tranny won't shift into 6th gear at 70. You are probably shifting from 4th to 5th at 70 which is 2500 to 3200 rpms. You don't have to worry about warranty anymore with the lift and tires installed. If you pull anything with the 3.42 it will not come out of 4th gear. I swapped my gears out to 4.56 and got my truck back. You are also probably getting 8-10 mpg right now. After swapping I am getting 14mpg. That 5.3 doesn't have the power for that gear ratio.
