Wow you guys brought my thread back from the dead! Might as well give an update on what works...

Hydroboost conversion and Power Stop front/rear rotors and pads. Honestly the hydroboost is worth every minute it takes to swap over. If you guys need more stopping power I highly recommend.

I have a 03 as well and had a problem warping the stock rotors when towing. I bought a craigslist set of stock 17 inch rims with tires for next to nothing and did the 05+ brake upgrade. This made a very noticable improvement. Better brakes and no more warping. Just food for thought for the future.
