fought with a slim jim and a wire hanger for about 2 hours. got mad, had a few choice words and proceeded to drill out the passenger side lock cylinder....... rotated the cylinder with a screwdriver, and opened the damn door. i guess i got metal shavings from the cylinder into the window brackets, because it makes a bunch of noise when i roll the window down. im just gonna use this opportunity to get rid of the key holes with some rear escalade handles without the keyholes..... this **** is aggrevating

 

please no one else follow my footsteps and keep the spare key IN the truck

 

Dude that sux,u got power locks?i open them easy with the original antennawithin 5 minutes, i hit the unlock button with the antenna

 

you can pry the door open wide enough to get the antenna and hit the buttom.. my buddy and his gf were out doing the deed on a county road, they get out of the front bare *** naked to get in the back and i guess they hit the lock button and locked the doors on them while they are bare *** naked. he said he pried the door open and used a rod he had in the back to hit his unlock button

If you got power door locks I hear you can get someone to call you on the cell and while you hold the phone close to the vehicle they can press the unlock button on the transmitter and it will unlock the doors but I see you locked the spares in the truck too...LOL

 

no stock antenna.... short billet one. i have locked myself out a couple of times and have always been able to get it with a hanger.... not this time. i cringed when i started drilling. i was VERY careful not to hit the paint. now i gotta get all the shvings out of the window hardware...... this is still gonna come out cheaper than calling a locksmith
