Default Need help on pipe saddle cutting

I have a hands on test coming up and wanting to know a little bit of information, since I don't know much about it....I want to know the points to mark on the pipe, how many points to mark, and it's going to be a 6 on 6 saddle and a 6 on 8 concentric 90 degree T. the formula I have is circumference= radius X2 X 3.14. It's just a new field I'm going in so . I have built pipe fences before and made saddles using templates ( not allowed to use on test ) . So I want to know how to measure out on the pipe. Just need to make sure...

Thanks people, don't beat me up to bad on this...
