DFW 6l80 rebuild
 

Throw me some options. Something happened with my Trans after having a shop install a yank in my car. Seems my pump may be damaged or worse.

who installed the yank?

Circle D Transmissions in houston. Dont know if its the same as Cirlce D converters lol.

Interesting. I just googled them up. They appear to be different companies but are only a few blocks apart.

A shop a buddy works for. Was doing it on the side...just trying to get the car back on the road. I'm leaning towards Futral if I take it out of town.

I wouldn't let futral touch mine, but that's based on personal reasons... what about Jakes, isn't that in DFW?

I have to call them when I'm back in town. Site does not show 6l80.

Futral has great reviews from the g8 guys. Justin is always helpful. It's just a far drive.

yessir, that drive is a mofo, I just drove down to NOLA a few weeks ago for a race and all I know is I'll be flying from now on!

Have you talked to Phoenix in Weatherford?

They did an awesome job on my 4L80E and their customer service is great. I don't know if they get into the 6L80's though.

I don't think I've emailed them yet. They are on my list to contact.

Sometimes that's what we have to do, I've made 4 6hr trips to Arkansas because no one in DFW would tune my car they way this tuner does.

Yeah, I sucked it up! Carrier is picking my car up this week. Full rebuild and tune.
