I prefer the look and feel of the NNBS shift lever after having an LBZ duramax that had the same shifter. I use a shifter from an 07-08 4L60e truck so it doesn't have the up/down buttons on it. Part # 25807852 The shifter will bolt right into place, but sits too low so it needs modifications:Cut the mount like this with a dremel:Then bend it in a vice like this: Then solder the original connector back on. It doesn't matter which wire goes to which, just hook them both up.Park Drive Tow/haul activates like normalYou'll need a T30 torx bit to get the shifter out, but everything else is just common hand tools.

This is legit. I also really preferred the bigger shifter from the gmt900.
