Yours should work fine if you ground it to the wire in blue in your above post

I believe you need the newer OS to have the fan controls in there. You will find Low Speed, and High Speed settings and AC settings. If you have an AC pressure sensor, then you can control the fans via the ac system as well as engine coolant temp. If you dont have an ac pressure sensor, you can only control by ECT or you can install an ac pressure sensor. I chose to just have them come on with the compressor at all times instead of installing the pressure sensor.

I have a complete oem fan ,rad, and wiring harness from a 06 ready to install on my 99. Can anyone help me with the wiring harness

I know the 2 plugs are plug and play. One of the plugs had a black wire cut. Idk if it is supposed to be connected to the other piece or if both black wires have to be grounded. Also there is a smaller plug i believe that wer you get the wires that go to the pcm. But idk i need help on that .

Sorry to highjack the thread,
So I'm trying to get my truck setup with E-fans. I took and wired in a 2005 setup into a 1999 6.0. I'm having issues with my fans being on constantly no matter the A/C request. I'm using HP tuners to adjust the tune. Do I need an 02 OS? I've been told I need an 02+ PCM and it's OS. Which would it be?
Thanks

I believe the hardware is the same just the OS needs to be upgraded. Have you bench tested your harness?

That is correct.

It's not the PCM but the software causing the issue.

You should use a 2002 operating system when adding E-fans.

Specifically the 12212156 OS.

Yeah with HP-TUNER I can activate each mode via the PCM.
