3M Rocker Panel Coating, 23 ounce Net Wt / 600g, Grey, 08889
I am mistaken. It's grey and you paint over it. It's only been 10-15 years since I last used it or was around it. |

Apparently most of the coatings are pretty good, it's all in the prep............

Prep will make or break any coatings longevity... Uv resistance is the other aspect, wron uv resostance will cause more than just fading in some cases....

Cool- have a good idea what I'm looking at. Say, B4 I paint in the liner I wanna put it a ladder rack that I had on one of my previous trucks and that had some kind of nut insert thru the sheet metal, here's some pics of what I've dug up; one recommendation over the other? I like the one that collapses, but am concerned than it will turn when trying to tighten a bolt in there. TIA
|
The crush ones tend to turn, the solid splined ones will too if overtightened, creating a bigger issue than just a turning nut!!!
