I added a rear sway bar on my truck that i got from an escalade, i made a how to post on how to install it and here is how you make your own end links depending on what amount of drop you have.

The stock end links are way too long.

Parts you will need:
2 Sway bar end links
2 Thread couplings
4 Nuts
Tap and Die set

so set up your bar parallel with the ground while the truck is on a level surface

Measure the distance between the bolt holes on the top mount and the sway bar.

This is the number you will be trying to achieve.

cut the middle out of both endlinks so that there is equal space left on each end and cut them a little shorter than the number you will need about 1/8 of an inch on each side (so that you can adjust them shorter if you need to)



Get a caliper to determine the diameter of the shaft so you know what die you will use and which nuts/couplings to get


Thread both ends of the endlink so that they look like this (use plenty of cutting fluid or you will have a hard time)




Then just thread the nuts on first on each end, and thread both ends into the coupling.

Install on the vehicle and adjust as needed.

Tighten the Jam Nuts so nothing turns or is lose

What about the chassis side mounts? Did you swap the Escalade pieces over too & were the mounting holes already there or did you have to drill holes?

i used a 1/2" nc13 die

the couple can be found at ace/HD/lowes etc.
