Default Aftermarket seat heaters

I will be adding a set of Katzkin leathers and i wanted to add some seat heaters too. I was wondering which ones people add. I found a universal seat heater set made my Dorman i was thinking about buying. Any other suggestions?

Youre in Texas...you should be looking into aftermarket seat coolers, not heaters

Just another use for some AN fittings.... Run some nylon tubing from your radiator, under the floor, into the seats and back out. Use a needle valve to regulate the flow. Barely cracked would give you a nice rump roast... Wide open would burn the buns

Don't forget to top off your coolant

My duramax has aftermarket seat heaters under the factory leather. They weren't working when I bought the truck. I looked at the fuses once, never went any deeper. They still don't work, and I still don't know why. LOL

I have no idea what brand they are.

Ain't I a lot of help?!?

I swapped a harness from an 02 2500 lt into mine with set of avalanche seats, ever thought of adding factory heaters and just putting power and ground to harness?? I know most of the 99-02 ls trucks were prewired but im sure the 04 had something to do with ddm or bcm so may not be easiest, may be something to look at though...

I think mine would be controled by the BCM. I really dont want to deal with getting it reprogramed.

katskinz makes there own brand of seat heaters. i believe there called cabotex or karbotex heaters..they work great, and heat up fast. i use them frequently.

Fair enough, had seen somewhere where guy used pre02 harness and switches and just wired it to power and ground... So he still had somehwat factory look without having to reprogram anything, been while since i was looking for info though!!
