wont start after engine swap
im only getting 10.5v at the battery. i had the battery tested and replaced it with a brand new full charged battery. battery shows 14.4v until i hook it up, then it reads 10.5v. ive checked all the grounds i could find and they are good. any suggestions?

I had the same problem, I found I missed the ground that is below the power steering pump. I went thru 2 batteries, and tons of trouble shooting.

i have that one on. i am going to start pulling them off and clean the contact area real good to see if that helps
|
did you get the one on the back of the engine, right next to the oil pressure sensor?
The braded ground needs to be on the back of the head also |
i put the braided ground on the block next to the oil pressure sensor. there was two small ground wires that were also on the back of the block next to the cam sensor. i will move the braided ground to the head.
|
so how many grounds should there be total?
this are the grounds i have: frame to block behind p/s pump firewall to to head coil pack harness to rear of block by cam sensor another small ground wire from harness to rear of block by oil pressure sensor |
there are two grounds connected to the same spot behind the p/s pump
i missed one when i did my lq4 swap and i almost went crazy till i figured it out lol |
