Welp guys this is my current setup. I have an 05 silverado rcsb. It has 1 10 kicker comp with this odd shaped box that I had never seen before but love it cause i dont have to move my seat one bit:) the amp is a jl audio thousand watt mono amp. The box is only about 6 or 5 in deep in the actual sub part

Am wanting to get a better sub something deeper louder do u guys think the cvx or cvr would sound good under the conditions I have it in?

I would look at the mounting depth of the box and the subs that you want to run. That way you know what your options are.

not trying to hurt anyone feelings but if you want a better sub then you need to get away from kicker. kicker subs are garbage, they have horrible sound quality and yes they are loud but being loud with horrible sound quality just isnt worth it. if i was you i would spend alittle more money and go with rockford or something alittle better. but its all up to you and what you prefer.
