I got a full set of jbl speakers in my S10 and have no complaints what so ever about them. Even ran off a crappy cheap head unit they are crisp and clear.

Well, just a little update on mine..... I got curious about just how much I’d have to really cut to get those 6.5’s in the rear doors. A dremel and spare time if dangerous with me, lol. Turned out to not really be that much honestly. Had to drill new holes to screw the speakers down but......they fit. Not sure if any other 6.5’s would fit but these do and the magnet had space behind it too. I will have to trim the door panel but it doesn’t effect the grill attachment points to the panel. Just to open it up to same size as the new speaker. Got a little few small details to wrap up and it’ll be done.

Looking good! Nice and clean!

I'm still collecting install pieces, got a 1/2" round over bit and a flush cut spiral bit for the router on the way!

Hell yea. Those router bits aren’t cheap for good ones. But they pay for themselves for sure. I’m still debating finding a good condition center console and dash pieces or building a custom console myself. My truck is a floor shift 4x4 so I’m starting to lean towards building one and using factory cup holder inserts and stuff.

I would find a good used center console myself, then anything you do under it is covered. I've seen dudes post pics of custom consoles, that looks like waaaay too much work to me, lol!
