Default Need some wiring help 2007 Sierra

I am looking for a wire that is powered when the key is on and stays powered untill you open a door. I'm installing a new radio and I found a keyed source but it goes off when I have the truck off and open the door, I'd like it to stay on with the truck off and door closed. Thanks for any help you can offer on that. Also I am getting some feedback from the mic in the headliner, what wire is that in the dash so I can kill it? Thanks

If I am not mistaken that is controlled by the BCM computer and therefore you will not be able to have that feature on any aftermarket radio. Of course someone could have come out with a harness that allows you to do that now that I am not aware of. Why do you need it to stay on until you open the door?? Isnt there an acc mode on the ignition where you turn the key one click back from off to run just acc?? You could just use this instead of having to have the key in the on position.

You should be able to find an adapter harness from your stock radio harness on you vehicle to your new radio. It is an quick & clean install & the new radio should function like oem radio.

No real reason, it's just a nice feature to have. I did find a harness that appears to do everything the one I bought was just a basic install deal so I guess I'll buy this other one and see what happens. Thanks
