I'd throw down a few layers of B-Quiet first on the door skin then add the baffle over the top. I have just the baffles and they help quite a bit!

 

So do you just poke a hole through the foam and thread the speaker wire through? Does it stay watertight then, or do you add a dollop of silicone?

 

I poked little hole in the bottom of the baffle. Never crossed my mind to seal it with some silicone...

 

Do stereo shops carry those foam thingies, or is crutchfield the only place to get them? If so, should I just get the wiring adapters from crutchfield at the same time?

 

As far as I know Crotchfield is the only place that has those baffles. No one locally to me has them. They also have those wiring adapters...they are like $6/set. Most places such as Circuit City and Best Buy have those adapters.
