how power is the stock bose cd unit
#1
I am replacing my stock head unit in my bose 9 spkr 04 GMC. I am doing a car PC setup with a stand alone car pc, and a in dash double din 7" LCD VGA touch screen, but im looking for one that has a built in amp, like 45X4 or something. I know the bose unit has a amp too, but I want to know how powerful the stock bose unit is?
the purpose for the car pc and the monitor is for 3 main reasons. number one being so I can have HPT installed and monitor while towing... (also going to have a external larger touch screen to tuning if need be) number two and number three are for MP3's and DVD's
thanks much

yep, if you put aftermarket radio in you will have to integrate it into that factory amp or replace all speakers with aftermarket instead....most aftermarket radios dont give more than 20watts or so rms so i wouldnt think the factory amp would be any more than that....
