Default foam surround loose

anyone have a solution for gluing a foam surround back to the cone of an aluminum subwoofer? mine has slowly came unglued and i would like to make it all bonded again.

You may have to send it back to the factory or another place that can re-surround the subwoofer. If the foam surround has come unglued from the aluminium cone then chances are the foam has deteriorated just as the glue has. What brand/model subwoofer is it. There really only a few brands that used aluminum cones.

they are audiobahn. and the foam is actually brand new feeling, and has no signs of wear what so ever.

is it foam or rubber surround. not too famliar with audiobahn. i have used super glue in the past on my subs with a hex cone and rubber surround and they kept on pounding at the rate of 700 rms watts....good luck, rob.

if you cant fix, i got some nice subs available for sale and cheap here near san antonio and in the rgv once a month....

they have got the PHAT foam surround. rated at 1000RMS. My amp is Rated at 1600 RMS which is also an audiobahn amp. What subs do you have for sale?

try the superglue or automotive adhesive i am sure would work also. my subs are diamond audio macdaddy 12s, single 4 ohm. can send pic if interested or curious. just pm me an email addy. rob (956) 802-7700.
