I dont know if Ill be able to find the Escalade console in the dark graphite/charcoal color.

 

Not in the grey that matches yours.. Diff years from 99-03 03-07, up have the same color names but vary in shades...

 

Its no big deal if they are a little bit off. If the 03-07 charcoal is too far off from my year color, Ill just paint it black and be happy with it.

 

That's what I ended up doing. I could only find a decent priced center console out of a Z71 tahoe with the grey interior. So... I got to sanding and painted mine black. I still have some pics, Lemme find em.

Oh and another thing... don't waste your time with the 99-02 console. The 03+ is TONS better as far as looks and functionality go. I always wanted to put a small sub in place of the factory one like Tim was talking about, just never got around to it because I was too busy replacing trans/motors

If you install it further towards the front of the truck it will cover up the gap that's created by the dash bezel much better. I had it right the first time but the second time I installed it I forgot and was too lazy to redo it.

I planned to skip getting a 99-02 console, 03+ look way cleaner.

What about the gap just infront of the console on the bottom, in your pics, is it just missing that blower motor cover thing?

Did you have the 03+ glove box piece?

 

I never had a cover there. It was a V6 work truck when I got it. I honestly don't know man. I swapped out the ENTIRE interior with an 05 that my buddy let go back. Lol

I did have the 03+ dash piece as well. Paid $107 for everything Plus some money for trim paint and sand paper lol

That looked Good Alex, I'd def get the 03 up console. I also like them much better than the earlier ones.
