Default Crew Cab Ported Sub box

Hello everyone,
New to this Forum I just purchased a 2010 GMC Sierra Crew Cab recently; First off you guys are great, This site is very helpful, just in the first few weeks your info has helped me greatly and probably saved me numerous hours in searching the net.

With that said I see that the major dilemma is the height issue below the back seat for a correctly sized sub box; My main question is has anyone installed a ported sub box back there; It would be to easy if there was enough clearance for a forward facing 10" so:
I Have 2 ways in mind

1: 2 subs down facing and the ports opening up the middle or each side of the truck to the cab; if plausible with the correct enclosure size ( haven't ran any numbers on air displacement cfa needed)

2: 1 sub down facing, behind drives side and the ported opening to the opposite side (passengers )of the truck

I have 2 10" alpine type R's 4 ohms dvc
and one alpine type mrp-m500 amp;
I had one 10" and the amp in my previous car with the amp wired to 2 ohms; In a big ported box built to specs.

I enjoyed the sound from the single ported more than it sealed for obvious reasons; and would like to use the amp and 1 10" ported than to do both sealed and have to find a 2nd amp

Overall my main question is, Has anyone ported in a crew cab and if so how did it sound; and was it a forward facing or side facing port

I like option # 1 I am sold on ported enclosures 100%. Its my understanding that any size enclosure to a point will work ported, you just have to match the port length and diamiter to the enclosure size. I have a local stereo shop that I call for port dimensions when I build a box for a new vehicle and they use some type of software on thier computer to get the dimensions for the port that I need. I have had a 12" sub in a ported box that has slightly more than 1 cubic ft and that same sub in a box that had about 2.5 and both sounded very good. Both setups were buile by me with ports to match the airspace with sound deadening material installed in the box. I would say you could get 1 cubic ft out of each side and have 2 subs in ported boxes if your good at designing boxes and know how to use space to its entirety.
