Im thinking about installing an Auto Meter Tach in my 2000 Chevy Silverado. It is part of the cobalt series and i was also going to install some pillar gauges. My question is how do you hook up the tach. Thanks all Damon

 

Regular power ground and illumination wire then you have the rpm signal wire which you tie into the white wire coming out of the stock cluster.

 

I put an auto meter tach in my '03,the instructions are on thier web site.It tells you how to find your signal wire.
