Default 04 ext. cab sierra Bose upgrade opinions?

The factory head unit doenst eject or take cd's anymore so Im thinking upgrade but to what is the real question. Ive got an old(er) RF T5002 from my past truck that apparently puts out 1000rms at 1 ohm so thought i might throw in a sub that can handle that range of power while im at it. I never have played my music loud enough so other people can hear it and never will so thats not at all important but at the same time I have this amp sitting here so might as well put it to good use. I had a 12" Elemental Design that i sold but I was thinking a 10" or even a couple 8" little guys just to add to the factory sub.

Head unit ideas are all over the place but since its double din id like to get something that fit and looked close to factory. I have found a couple of in-dash dvd player/ screens for less than 350 which is about the tops I want to throw into it plus the bose/onstar integration and steering wheel control adapters.

Axxess GMOS-04 is the cheapest I can find, like half off the PAC unit so any thoughts on that as well would be awesome. thanks guys
