Default AFP Corbeau Seat Mounting Brackets

New Product! This makes installing aftermarket seats into these trucks very easy!

Bolt-in seat mounts for corbeau seats in these trucks with harness mounting points. Other brands may also work if they share the corbeau mounting pattern or something similar. Corbeau does not make a kit for these trucks so most people modify the factory mount with angle iron or the like to put in race seats. My mounts have multiple positions to mount the seats with about 3" front to back adjustment and 1.5" left or right adjustment. They are not on rails, so the seat is fixed once you get it where you want it, but you can use these in conjuction with the corbeau slider rail if that is important to you. There is about a 7 degree recline (same as factory). They are 3/16" steel with gussets for strength and weigh about 13lb each. They will be strong enough to mount a 4 or 5 point harness to for those guys that don't have a cage but want an easy way to mount aftermarket seats and harnesses. This is not a replacement for a real cage!

Multiple side face designs are available and even customized wording! Available in raw finish (if you plan to powder coat later or want something other than flat black) and flat black paint.

I have them available in driver side only or driver and passenger side kits, and I also have multiple outer face designs you can choose from or even customize your own! Prices are $185+shipping for driver side and $325+shipping for both. Customized wording is +$30.

There is more info on my website and you can also order directly from there when you are ready! Typical lead time for customized wording is 2-3 weeks.

I am also looking for someone with a GMT900 (07-14) truck that is willing to take their seats out and take me some REALLY good measurements so I can make a set for that platform as well. In return I will give you a great deal on a set of brackets for your truck. Message me if you are interested.

Man I wish these were around back in the day when I hacked together the mounts for my corbeaus. These are much nicer than welding some angle iron to a hacked up factory seat rail using a harbor freight flux welder

I really liked the idea of the product on first view but after studying the design for a bit, I feel the harness attachment statement is a bit ill-advised (or at least needs more clarification). I can see attaching a crotch belt to the front row vertical holes in the top plate dependent on seat position/design. Lap belts could attach to the horizontal holes in the side plates but feel they should be moved rearward to take full advantage for optimal belt angle. Not sure how shoulder belts could be attached at any sort of optimal angle or position.

I'll leave this for reference... SFI Seatbelt Installation Guide

While I absolutely agree having a cage to mount a real harness to is by far the best way, if you are going to install aftermarket seats and not install a cage or additional structural support, you need to mount a harness somewhere. In that case having it mounted to my brackets is absolutely safer than having it mounted to sheet metal or nothing at all! I say in bold letters in the first post that this is not a replacement for a cage, but it is by far better than nothing.

I can move around the side mounting holes no problem, I didnt know where the slots would be on the seats so I took a guess but I can have additional holes or move the holes rearward for a better angle.

The truth is a lot of guys put aftermarket seats and 4 or 5 point harness in their trucks without installing a cage, and they need to mount them somewhere. Absolutely my brackets are safer than mounting them to a hacked up factory rail or to the body sheet metal, but clearly having a full cage to utilize is ideal, I make no claims that a cage is not the best solution.

I can agree with that; especially in the GMT800 trucks where the floor mount points were designed for seats with integrated restraints. However, on the shoulder belts, I would attach them at the floor bolts rather than to the bracket it's self.

Will these be available as weld-yourself kits like the coolant tanks?

No DIY kits for these. I am much better and more confident in my steel welding than my aluminum. I also want to make sure they are welded well instead of a DIY kit someone with a Harbor Freight 90amp flux core BS welder tries to make it stick together with a bird **** bead and thinking its safe enough to use just because they want to save a few bucks.

So I have finished my model for the 2007-2014 GMT900 trucks and am ready to go on those as well! They have a 6 degree layback angle and the front is 6.5" and rear is 5" (same as factory).

I also added some extra holes more towards the rear to move the lap belt rearward and do the shoulder straps on the side if you want.
