What noise? I get some sort of clanking on start up, then goes away. Sounds like it is exhaust, but the one time i caught it, I swear it was from the cat area. It went away at first once we swapped, I'm 5 hiking we just moved a heat shield around or something. It's kinda annoying.

sorry man, forgot about replying to this thread.

The noise my car made was from a broken weld on the kooks exhaust system on it. The pipes past the rear axle were rubbing. Made a metal grinding noise at ~2000 rpm.

Also had a broken timing chain guide that caused a tick at idle. Its a plastic piece. Not uncommon for it to break, from what I understand.
