Sparta is nice neck of the woods. A buddy and I would make regular runs through Spencer on 30 & 285 when we had bikes. Closer than the dragon with less traffic.
Cars & coffee at the Franklin/cool springs theater off of Frazier. Every sat. morning. 1st weekend of the month the exotics take over. Look for the facebook page.
Used to be every sat. afternoon the backyard burgers off of Royal oaks in Franklin had a cruise in, but the place burned & the cars quit coming out. They rebuilt it, but it had gotten cold by then, so they'll probably start turning up come spring time.
There's also a cruise sat afternoons at the Chic-fil-a / Kroger in the Providence Place retail area in Mt. Juliet.
as an update, I bought a '01 Camaro ss for a toy. 9" rear is in the floor, 408 is on the stand, & a fresh set of 5th gen brakes ready for it.
drunk driver hit me & totaled the rcsb.
I bought it back since I only had 12,000 miles on this build. Kept the engine/trans & gave the rear w/true track to my buddy for letting me use his shop. sold what I could & scrapped the rest
bought a blown '08 TBSS for a replacement. it's on its 3rd transmission since 11/'16.
hydrolocked #8 when a faulty intercooler leaked, so I rebuilt the 6.0
Later, I blew up the 6.0, so I picked up a 6.2, built that & ran it 2 years until it experienced a failed lifter. I rebuilt it & just got that back in a couple weeks ago.
