Default Need some tire help.

Im wanting to put a tire on the back of my truck that calls for a 8-10" wide wheel. Will it be to bad if I put it on the stock wheel? I forgot hte width of the stock wheel but i know its not 8" wide. Thanks.

I loved my Toyo's on the Lightning they are 295/45/18's and our wheels are 9.5'' wide. I think I am gonna go back with the Toyo's unless I get a good deal on some Nitto DR's. Also MT is coming out with a DOT Drag Radial for an 18''.

Stock 16" wheels are 6.5" wide. I've seen people run 285/60's on them with no problems. A 60 series profile is about as low as you can go with that width. Judging that the tires you mention are for a 8-10" wheel I'm guessing you're looking at a 275/60 or a 285/60. Either way you'll be fine.

285/60/16 bfg ta radial. I currently have 265/60 and figured I would go up in size a littl ebit to try and take up some fender well room and Just MAYBE ease a little more gas mileageon the hwy out of her with the 4.10's. I have to replace the back 2 NOW, lol wonder why. THe front 2 have a good few months left so ill be replacing those with the same size i go with for the back when the time is right.

I dont hardly hear anyone on here useing the bfg t/a radial but ive cut 1.9 60' with them and got 30k out of them doing hell of burnouts, this is the back 2 that is.
