yah the 2-4 band poped. IT SUCKS!!!!! I had all of first and then would just rev till I played with it in 2nd and then would shift into 3rd.

yep i lost them all one at a time the band is burned and has to much clearence try this let it cool down and drive like a grandma and see if 2nd works let it cool like over night

I've broken 7 (4l60E) tranny's some of them lost 4th gear first some of them lost 3rd and I still dont know or understand JACK S**T about tranny's. Thats why this sounds weird to me.

on my old 4l60 reverse was always the first gear to go

yea.. ive been thru 3rd and 4th a few times. after the 1st tranny blew the rear planitary

2-4 band is smoked. Got reverse, or did the input drum go out as well?
