what are the s/c'd joe gibbs 4.8 5spds?
 

what transmission are the 4.8 5spds running that come from the factory supercharged?

everyoen said the 4.8 5spd couldnt handle a lot of power...are they the same trans or no?

same trans. yes they have had some problems.

Aren't they called a getnrag or something like that??? I have the NV3500 in mine, but i think they changed it in 04

Mine's not broke yet. It hasn't seen slicks either.

that's not what breaks them. they just can't handle speed/power shifting. the syncro's and blocker rings are terrible in them. you can launch it on slicks plenty and not break it. it's the shifting that breaks it.
