i'd stick to the 06 front end SS clone idea. especially on a rc.

I like the 06, but IMO, Id go with the 03. I just think it flows better.

Not really since '04 and '08 trucks are two totally different body styles.....GMT800 vs. GMT900.

my clone has taken me three years from purchase where it was a bone stock complete work truck edition!....to now.....
i bought this truck when i graduated from highschool as sumin to mess with during college so funds are alil slow comin in but im makin it happen.
mods so far are alll OEM no aftermarket parts here.....

power locks and windows(oem!!)
leather wrapped steering wheel
10"subwoofer and pioneer amp, deck
suede headliner
roof console
tint
colormatched grill
oem ss bumper
oem rear bumper
all oem cladding
tonneau cover
ss exhaust tip
ss tailgate spoiler
color matched door handles
color matched mirrors
keyless entry (oem)
ss badges

next week on goes my 2-4 mcguaghy's drop....the second picture!

Very Nice Truck~!!!!

Well. Im not going to go all out in a hurry. Part1. will be to buy the SS front bumper, SS Wheels, and role pan then lower it. Gotta a 5.3 for it but im thinking bout a 6.0. Then Ill start on the others.

So where did you get your bumper and scoops? And how bads the install???

not to bad at allllll......very easy if u go oem...aftermarket suckbig time! i had them both!
im glad i paid a lil more and got the oem now!

it just slides rite over and you bold on a couple brackets......sae autoparts on ebay has oem ones for fairly cheap! check em out man u kan get cladding to and rear bumper.

jus checkin but you know if you get cladding a reg. roll pan wont work rite!? u need a custom one off suilveradoss.com its from bser.....good stuff

yeah, ill just sell the one I got but I know the cladding is noticeably lower then stock which will make the roll pan unusable. So for the scoops on the bottom of the front bumper you'd and grills youd just recommend buying from GM parts??
