Question RST and a Boat?

Hey all,

Need some help. I really want to buy a boat but I am not sure that my RST can handle the job. I know that it could pull it, but I am not sure about how it will do going up and down the launch ramps especially with the 5 speed. Anyone have any experience towing with their RST that could provide me with some insight? I am looking to buy a ski boat something like a Sanger in the 20-22 ft range... Thanks in advance!

I had a 95 RCSB 4.3 5 speed truck that pulled my 21' Triton bass boat. Did just fine, just wouldn't set land speed records.

I would think your truck would have no problems.

I guess what my concern is that the clutch won't take the abuse or I might have troubles getting the truck to hook while trying to get the boat up the launch ramp. Any input on those experiences from towing with your RCSB?
