Wink N/A Joe Gibbs Silverado 5.3



Got a 2005 5.3L Joe Gibbs Silverado. Extended Cab Stepside.

What tune should I look into? I was told EFI Live black bear by a few people... any suggestions?

eventually... ill have CAI, full exhaust, cam, the tune, throttlebody, and i think thats it...

any other suggestions? im looking to keep it n/a for now.

im pretty happy with my new truck so far!!!

A mail order can be decent but with a cam you really need to have a dyno tune. But that's just my opinion.

idk, the efi live, you get mailed to you.. run it on your truck for about half an hour, send them the tune with all your trucks current specs on it, then tell them what you want, then theyll do the tune custom to your truck.

Let me ask though, My Joe Gibbs is a N/A as well but is a flex fuel motor... How about yours? 8th Vin letter is Z

i dont think mine is a flex fuel... no badges or stickers or anything telling me it is...

8th letter is T.

Also, your Joe Gibbs appears is white?

i didn't know they made them in anything other than black and red... I also noticed it says something on the bed? z85? and it has the lt badges on the cab? weird, never seen that before.
