Default Joe Gibbs (Blower) 2004 Serpentine Belt Part #

Hello Perf Trucks, Doing the R&R on the Serpentine Belt for the Joe Gibbs 2004 supercharged truck and Chevy dealer has not part # so I'll post the Goodyear Poly V belt part # here after I figure out which one i need. These seem to be hard to find as well.

they are really easy to get in reality. are you running a stock size blower pulley? it should be a 3.5" on there. if so, that belt number posted above is correct. NAPA carries Gates belts, which in my professional experience are by far the best... Dayco belts from advanced auto parts are not great... NAPA part number on the belt you need is 25-061120. if for some reaason you havent found one yet, shoot me a PM i have them in stock

I also only run Gates belts, never cared for Dayco.

Thank you abey15, I'm going to feel pretty stupid if the # is on the belt itself. I didn't look for it after the dealer had checked when doing the alignment. Appreciate the help here thank you.

Hi John, thank you! Yes, running the stock pulley and will grab the Gates. Curious why Goodyear Poly-V, I run gates on my L98 IROC and they have been solid. I heard that some will slip on the blowers. -gary

gary, sorry I didn't see this sooner. hope you got your belt okay. the reason I wont use dayco belts is simple- they snap, on EVERY car we use them on above about 420 whp. and yes, ive had an 8 rib dayco break during a dyno run @ 6000 rpm on a 980 RWHP car, bounce off my wall next to dyno, come THROUGH the window and give me a bloody mouth and nose. so... no I don't care for dayco my only issue with the goodyear is, they tend to be loud on some applications. (and yes all accessory drives were properly aligned, that is not what caused the belt failure ) now gates makes an HD line that is green in color, and a race line that is blue in color. I have found these belts to be just about indestructible. only catch is, pricey, and don't come in every size.
