Unfortunately I did take the blower off
Guy was selling a turbo kit and I was curious what it would do with a turbo, it is getting worked on right now!
As far as all the other work that was mentioned above, it is just getting the camshaft changed. Circle D said the converter will work so I guess we'll wait and see if it needs to be changed later.
Also getting a 2 step and Eboost2 controller
Turbo is a billet 82/87 borg warner
Should be on the dyno maybe next week so I'll update on what it does.
Blower was at 17psi and I plan on running a little bit more with the turbo, excited to see what it makes!
Are you running the ProCharger big red valve? If so any chance of getting a pic? Just ordered my headers, D1X and Devils Own meth kit is here. Cal tracs are on so just need more fuel, cam and converter!

And as for the 15" wheels you have to run the bracket that 1320wheels makes and they have the part numbers for the rotors/calipers etc on their website.
Man thats a lot of turbo for a 5.3... The SXE's definitely spool faster than the older borg's do, but thats more then enough turbo to make 5.3 soup without breaking a sweat. I'm surprised you went with one so large.

Wasn't really by choice, its just the turbo that came with the kit lol bought the kit used.
Probably going to be lazy as hell, I guess we'll see lol first time with a turbo on anything.
