hey everyone new member, here to further my knowledge on GM trucks.

I have rebuilt hondaCBR600f4i engines many times inside and out down to designing and testing my own custom intakes and exhausts to compete in design competitions in college.

my main purpose for joining is going to be researching and asking questions pertaining to my 2009 Chevrolet silverado 5.3 build

currently 90k on the stock 5.3L and 6l80e
replaced the stock 3.42 gears with dana 4.11s myself in garage, now have almost 20k on them
Airaid jr intake tube and K&N filter
catchcan installed at 30k miles
Diablo intune tuned by Diablew
halo lifts boss ultimate coilover kit set at 2.5"


thats all the performance mods for now, till wife gets a new vehicle.

i am in the process of looking at what i can do to start a forced induction build.

going to need to upgrade:

• the trans (would love to do this myself in the garage)

• the rear end? 14bolt full float maybe? not real sure here

• would like to do a TT setup because it will be cheaper and i can fabricate a lot myself but will more than likely toss that idea ,so the truck wont be down for a while, and go with a twin screw SC
