I have a pair of Calvert 9-way adjustable shocks that have less than 3,000 miles on them. I went with a rear shock relocation in the rear and needed shorter shocks. Compressed length 14 1/4 Extended length 22 1/8 Configuration eye top and bottom. These work great with stock height or mildly lowered trucks, or even seriously lowered trucks when using shock extenders. Includes correct Grade 8 hardware as shown. $150 shipped.
How much better were these compared to the stockers? Im 4x4 at stock ride height and my rear tends to drop hard on launches and unloads the front... If I can stiffen the rear, leaving the front planted I would think it wouldn't be as violent.
These are 9-way adjustable so at full stiff they do exactly what you describe-limit squat and control rear bounce once the truck transfers weight. As far as comparison to stock I'm not sure as I never launched my truck on stockers.
