Does fit a 2000 5.3. I'm trying to upgrade intakes

 

Does not fit any 5.3, ever.

Only fits square port (07+ 6.0+) heads

 

Like already mentioned, this intake would not fit your 5.3L. You need a cathedral port intake, commonly referred to as a TBSS or NNBS intake. I sell those as well, but am out at the moment. I should have more coming in towards the end of the week, I can let you know.
